AI-/KI - what the hell?
In our eyes, artificial intelligenceis a wonderful way to achieve completely new design possibilities in the image and video sector. In just a few seconds, a program calculates the pixels of your desired image. All you need is a perfect prompt. A prompt is a text command that the PC uses to start creating your image. The AI is only as smart as what we humans tell it to do. At Lumos, we understand that the right prompt is not only a springboard for ideas, but also a bridge that crosses the gap between the now and what could be. The right prompt opens doors to new worlds.
AI can also make our design lives easier in other areas of application. It helps us in the development of digital applications by enabling us to fix errors in our code more quickly. It also enables us to progress and implement virtual and augmented reality projects even faster.
We love technical innovations and keep a close eye on all developments. We are therefore always up to date and are delighted when we can try out something new and use it for specific projects.
What is actually allowed and what is not?
Just like the development of AI, legislation is constantly changing. However, this does not deter us - on the contrary: we regularly keep ourselves up to date and are part of an advisory network so that we are always on the legally safe side in this area. If you have any questions, we look forward to sharing our knowledge with you.
Disadvantages of AI/KI
Artificial intelligence makes our work easier. It makes processes faster, more efficient and therefore more cost-effective for you. But it also has its limits. Subsequent changes to AI/ AI-generated images are not impossible, but they cannot usually be implemented very precisely. For example, if we have created a pink unicorn with crocodile feet on a skateboard for you, we can't just adjust individual details such as the shape and size of the skateboard afterwards. Nor can we change the unicorn's viewing direction or head tilt. On the other hand, these are changes that would be possible with COMPUTER GENERATED IMAGES (CGI) and photorealistic 3D visualizations without any problems. We would be happy to advise you on which of the innovative AI or 3D rendering solutions are possible for your project and what the advantages and disadvantages are.
